Visitors to the Foundation’s table will have the chance to browse a wide selection of overstock books and periodicals, including Canadian and international philatelic titles. All items will be available for purchase by cash only, in keeping with past sales.
“Our book sale is a great opportunity for collectors to find those hard-to-locate catalogues or specialized publications,” said Natalie Mitchell, library manager at the Harry Sutherland Philatelic Library. “We’ll have everything from Stanley Gibbons Great Britain Catalogues to The Airmails of Egypt to The Edward VII Issue of Canada: A Detailed Study, plus much more.”
In addition to the extensive book offerings, a member of the Foundation’s expertizing committee will be on hand Sunday to answer any questions about the Foundation’s philatelic expertizing services.
This year’s sale also coincides with the Greene Foundation’s 50th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, limited-edition anniversary mugs will be available for purchase.
“We’d love for visitors to stop by, say hello, and help us celebrate this milestone year,” Mitchell added.
