Harry Sutherland Library book sale at this weekend’s show

The Vincent Graves Greene Philatelic Research Foundation’s Harry Sutherland Library is selling overstock duplicate titles from its collection at this weekend’s National Postage Stamp and Coin Show.

“We will have books, auction catalogues, and journals, consisting primarily of Canadian and British North America material,” says Library Manager Natalie Mitchell. “The proceeds of this sale will go towards updating our infrastructure to help keep the library running smoothly.”

Some of the titles that will be available include:

  • Brigham Collection catalogues
  • The Air Mails of Canada and Newfoundland
  • The Postage Stamps and Postal History of Canada Vol. 2 by Boggs
  • Air Mails of Canada 1925-1939 by Arfken and Plomish
  • Canadian Postal Rates and Routes to North American Destinations 1859-1914 by Willson
  • Newfoundland Cents Issue Covers: A Census by Pratt
  • The History of the Post Office in British North America 1639-1870 by Smith
  • The Wartime Mails & Stamps: Canada 1939-46 by Guertin
